What is DWA Public Liability insurance?
Public liability insurance (also known as third party insurance) for DWA covers you for legal liability to third parties, including related legal costs if a third party is injured or their property is damaged.

Animals listed on the Dangerous Wild Animal Act Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976 & 1984 include: Caiman’s, crocodiles, venomous snakes and savannah cats. Infact the list is huge. And we can provide Public Liability cover for all of them.

How much does DWA Public Liability cover cost?
The cost starts at around £92 a year for £1m of cover for one DWA animal. The cost will vary depending on how many animals you cover, the level of Public Liability cover you want and whether you’re an individual or a commercial business.
We are able to offer 3 different limits of cover, which can be £1m, £5m or £10m. The excess for third party property damage is £250.
